SNNY’s latest partnerships

SpeakNow NY has been very busy working with various organizations and companies, broadening our reach to new departments and people that help us to grow. That being said, we are proud to announce our two newest partners, EcoVision and Chosen Futures.

ECoVision

SNNY has been working closely with a newly created climate-related startup, named EcoVision, to enhance their mission and achieve their goals. EcoVision was created by high schoolers Luis Gruesshaber and Ethan Wu, and is a product of their idea of creating an app that tracks carbon emissions, while combining ideas of entrepreneurship and sustainable innovation.

Our team at SNNY thought that the idea of creating an effective tool for people to track their carbon emissions and make them more aware of their carbon footprint had significant potential in crossing the worlds of business and technology.

SNNY have helped EcoVision develop by assisting them in hosting an event at Vassar College, where they pitched their idea and took part in workshops hosted by Vassar Faculty. Furthermore, we helped them design their newly launched website and provided them with an effective network of connections to grow further.

We will continue to work with EcoVision, and help them shape a bright and sustainable future!

Chosen Futures

Chosen Futures is a nonprofit based in Bogota, Colombia that works in providing free education to impoverished kids across the country by teaching them English, with the help of volunteers from local communities here in New York.

These volunteers connect with these kids via zoom, and tutor them English in important and practical topics to keep them off the streets. Through Chosen Futures, these kids have broadened their English speaking skills significantly, which helps them connect with more people in the US, and helps spark new opportunities for them, despite their background.

Several SNNY members participate in weekly zoom classes with these kids, which also helps them improve their own Spanish speaking skills, while simultaneously changing the lives of dozens of kids across Colombia.

SNNY is also preparing a user-friendly website for Chosen Futures, to expand their network here in the US.
